LILi: Lifelong Information Literacy 2017 Conference

Code of Conduct

Lifelong Information Literacy (LILi) strives to support an open exchange of ideas within a safe and respectful environment. We value your attendance at our conferences, business meetings, and events. We are dedicated to providing a positive experience for our participants. We want our events to be welcoming, supportive, and comfortable for participants regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, citizenship or other group identity.

Please give respectful consideration to the perspectives and opinions of all present, and use discretion with photographs, recordings, and sharing. If a participant engages in harassing behavior, LILi may take any action it deems necessary, including warning the offender or removing the offender from the event. Event organizers will assist attendees in contacting building/venue security or local law enforcement or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment so they feel safe for the duration of the event. If you are being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a LIL Mini-conference organizer immediately.

To report an incident or problem to the LILi Mini-conference Organizers during the mini-conference: Go to the Registration Desk or talk to a LILi Mini-conference volunteer.

Questions?  Please contact Susie Chin, schin@glendale.edu.
